SDCC 2016: This new line of Star Wars figures is eye-popping

San Diego Comic Con 2016 is on, and though The Joy of Geek crew is not attending, we’re still at home devouring every bit of news from it and speculating as much as we can. And while there’s some exciting Marvel and DC announcements and trailers popping up, particularly the trailer for Marvel and Netflix’s Luke Cage, the thing that’s got me geeking out the most so far is the new line of SDCC Star Wars figures.

Now, a lot of the figures from SDCC you’ll see online are con exclusives, but these are new ones from the Star Wars Black Series, meaning they’ll eventually be made available to the public domain. I’ve been waiting for a classic Ben Kenobi figure and a Rey with the iconic Skywalker lightsaber, so needless to say these will soon be great additions to my Star Wars merchandise collection. There’s also a glorious Jyn Erso from Rogue One (which I have a feeling Jordan from our site will be interested in), Finn in his stormtrooper uniform, and a Kylo Ren without his mask. Get ready to empty your wallets once these become available.
